Trash pumps can pass foreign material such as stones, leaves, mud etc. that can clog other pumps. If clogged, simply remove the clean-out cover by loosening the hand knobs. This trash pump can pass solids up to 1" in diameter. Units are self-priming, and once you fill the casing with water, you're ready to go. The heavy-duty steel frame increases portability and pump protection. Suction hose and 1 50' discharge hose included.
